The author at Life Breath, Present describes herself like this-“Despite my expensive education, I now stay at home. I go on forest and driving adventures with Hun and Baby Boy. I take pictures. I taught myself to crochet. I’m learning more about natural remedies and products to keep us healthy and well. I organize things. I research and discover non-mainstream living ideas.
She said her blog covers her, “Struggles, progress, happiness, joy, fulfillment, confusion, heartache, understanding, and choices are here to (hopefully) help make the everyday life in our world a little more manageable. Being a new mother, giving up my career, and staying at home are more challenging than I thought. Sometimes that challenge really hits me hard and being alone with it was more difficult than putting it out in the blogosphere, so here I am: Life. Breath. Present.”
I was attracted to her blog because she is a Christian and like my mom, she is exploring natural remedies. I think readers will find it an interesting blog to follow. She reviews books in her “spare” time and I was fortunate that she was willing to take the time to review my new book. A major publisher Tyndale, as well as blogging for books keep her busy.
She is also hosting a contest to give away a copy of my book, so be sure to check out her blog and enter the contest.
Success Can Kill You Book Review & Interview
Rod Jetton’s book, Success Can Kill You, is a quick, simple, and straightforward read, while also having a raw truth about how and where he went “wrong”. He tells of his upbringing in Christian faith and the success he had in business before becoming a politician. He goes on to tell of his quick rise and success in the political arena in Missouri and how he slowly and steadily walked away from his faith and his beliefs to achieve more power and continue on a perceived road to success.
